Their track ‘A Wise Man Said’ was picked up by Phil Taggart on BBC Radio One describing it as a ‘gnarly punk anthem’, supported by John Kennedy and playlisted on Radio X and also on BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing London where they were featured artist in August and over 100,000 streams on Spotify. They came together out of their shared passion for gigs and music and influenced by bands such as The Smiths, Velvet Underground, The Libertines, The Clash and Jamie T. This is proven in the upbeat melodies and lyrical observations of 21st century Britain in songs such as 'Gentrification' and 'Queens English', combined with high-octane live performances that have been key to making their live shows unmissable. Sisteray also successfully broke onto the festival circuit this summer with slots at Isle Of Wight, Leeds Festival, Camden Rocks, Party In The Pines and more. They have just been in the studio recording tracks for a new project with producer Rory Attwell (Vaccines / Palma Violets etc.) to be unleashed early 2017.
