Bio Synaesthesia inspired, female fronted, Old Bohemia are Otis Ebenhardt and Marie Laveau.

They play music that sounds like an angry Nina Simone got lost in time and grew up in the

apathy and angst of the 90's post-grunge scene.

The band released their first EP, Epoch, as a hit the switch and play recording in order
to capture the intensity of their live show. Their debut was well received, selling out on
the night of its launch at Glasgow's King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. Tracks from Epoch have since
been played on various radio shows and podcasts including BBC radio 1 and Tom Robinson's BBC
Introducing Mixtape.

Following the release of Epoch, Old Bohemia went onto play a sold out show at Brighton's
Great Alternative Escape, a headline show on the Forrest Stage of Edinburgh Meadows Festival
and a closing Saturday night slot at Wickerman's Acoustic Village. They wrapped up their
summer with a late night show at Eden festival and appearances at Summer Nights festival and
Kelburn garden party.
A debut release, two tours and over 60 shows kept Old Bohemia busy in 2015.

Their second EP 'Astral Giants' dropped on the 8th of July 16 and was performed live for the
first time at their Headline show on the acoustic stage Butefest 2016. The duo turned in four
shows across the weekend and finished with a forty minute improvised, musical accompaniment
of the weekends circus fire show finale.

The EP's departure from their acoustic sound has drawn comparisons to 'Bats for lashes' and
'Daughter' with shades of even 'Radiohead' or 'Portishead'.
'Astral Giants' introduces the
duos love of sonic textures with Marie Laveau's synaesthesic ability to see colour in sound
being one of the strongest influences in the production process.

The EP deals with themes
of the uncertainty and unpredictability of life in your early
twenties and is an earnest
autobiographical tale of the desire
to find meaningful lasting happiness in the social media age.

The band completed their first UK headline tour in September and October 2016, playing 22 live
show and covering over 3,500 miles. In 2017 they are embarking on their first European tour, in anticipation of their new record.
