Kairos is a five piece indie outfit based predominantly in Leeds with songwriter come bassist Louisa McClure spending her days in London.

Kairos met at the prestigious Leeds College of Music featuring musicians from various years all brought together by Louisa; including Amy Rhodes Johnson on vocals, Izzy Hobbs and Oscar Killen on guitars and Douglas Frost on drums. Coming together they create what Louisa describes as “indie sad boi bops” taking influence from Funk and Psychedelic genres to create a vibrant, infectious sound that you can’t help but dance to.
Their first unofficial release 'Waves' was picked up by Tom Robinson's team 'Fresh on the Net', which earned Kairos their first national broadcast on BBC 6 Music in 2016. Fast forward to 2019 after a brief stint in Liverpool, Kairos have found their place in the vibrant music scene of Leeds with full live outfit. Launching themselves into the live scene, the band have played with up and coming locals BDRMM and slacker genius Lazy Day.
Their first official release in July 2019 'Up To Me' made a three week appearance on BBC Introducing West Yorkshire, a very warm welcome back from Alan Raw.
B Side 'Cut the String' crossed paths with 'Fresh on the Net' moderator Neil March who made it his 'Vanishing Point' track of the week on 'Exhile FM'.
KAIROS have continued to create an engaging genre blend of indie, with previous singles being deemed as "masterclasses in riffy bedroom pop" - (Super Friendz, 2019)
