The origin was to challenge the pop genre. That is why both their music and name is contrary and playful. Their sound is characteristic thanks to a specific blend of timbres. In their songs bold beats intertwine with zither sounds and strong bass. NOTOPOP is inspired not only by the emerging synth sounds but also Britpop and classic electro music. Combined with overpowering melodies and unique female vocal they are one of the most aspiring bands in Poland.
