He researches technology and music since the early 2000s. Producing soundtracks for Theater, Dance, and Cinema since 2006, Aganju is interested in music as a sound environment and landscapes, investigating the musical layers with guitar pedals, delays, fuzz’s, loop stations, recycled material, circuit bending, and all the possibility of the relationship between high and low technology.

Brazil, Haiti and Western Africa; these are the three founding elements of Marcos Aganju’s music; elements that the Lisbon- based Brazilian guitarist and technology researcher mixes, hybridises and allows to grow together with electronica and hip-hop to create a cultural and rhythmic crossing through the Atlantic Ocean.
