Kill Kenny, band from Novo Mesto, is having a varied year; besides the concerts at home they’re also appearing at Exit and Waves Vienna festivals. They’re also preparing some new material.
Year 2013 is most certainly the year of Kill Kenny!

Their music combines a variety of styles. The easiest way to label them would be as alternative rock band. Kill Kenny has won over their fans with quality original music full of authentic, energetic and passionate concerts as well as the honest performance they provide every time on stage.

The begining of Kill Kenny starts in 2009. They have made themselves noticeable with the song ‘Outta control’ and they published their first debut album titled ‘Josh’ at the end of year 2011. Before, in the middle and after they released their album, the flow of concerts was inevitable. They performed all over the place, from small stages in alternative Slovenian clubs to big stages on festivals such as Rock Otočec, Schengenfest, Pivo in cvetje, etc.

They were also the winner of Val 202 contest: We have good music, our biggest brewery chose them in their contest to co-finance their video for the song ‘Killin’ time’.

This year the band is faced with a few challenges; by appearing on Slovenian music week they have earned performances on two foreign festivals – they will introduce themselves to the international audience on this year Exit festival as well as on Waves Vienna festival.
