Born in London, England, of Irish heritage, Jot Maxi McNamee (full birth name) is an enigmatic vocalist and rapper with an arsenal of styles that ranges from deep low-fi tones over spaciously engaging ambient production all the way up to to a vibrant fast paced scream-rap that mixes elements of Hip-Hop, Punk, Grime and Metal into one.
Having featured on their first album 'Outside the Box', Jot was later asked to join the critically acclaimed British Rap-Metal band 'Hacktivist' in 2017 following the departure of their previous front-man.
Aside from work with the band, Jot Maxi is known most notably for emceeing at live shows across the underground UK and European Dubstep & Future Bass scene alongside groups such as Grime music pioneers 'Macabre Unit'.
Jot now continues to release music and tour with Hacktivist whilst always working on solo material plus various other projects & collaborations across an array of genres.
