Every month Canal UK Radio will present at least one artist in depth in their show. Further songs of other artists will receive airplay in the show and will be added to the station playlist.

done in 4 weeks, so that means one artist or band showcased (3 songs) a month. Within that show I will play up to 25 tracks from other indie artists (who won’t be showcased), some older songs that have appeared before and some newer ones. After that live show all the songs are automatically added to the station playlist so the songs will play as per their weighted number in the playlist continuously going forward. The showcase is an introduction to new artists and bands. If an artist doesn’t make the showcase, they will still be added to the station playlist if they meet the genre criteria and I feel their music is suitable for our listeners. I hope that helps.
