Following Tony's departure in July 2015, Pete took over the sticks in August 2015.

The band's debut gig was in Cobra Club, Dunfermline on 2nd October 2015, supporting Louise Distras. A follow-up support gig on 3rd October took place during the St. Andrew's Day Society "All Dayer" in Bathgate. The band's third support gig was performed in Purple Orange, Bathgate, on 13th November 2015. The band's fourth gig will take place in The Bungalow, Paisley, on Saturday 23rd January.

At the end of October 2015, EX- began recording their first EP, "Ex. 1", which was released on Saturday, 23rd January 2016. Regal Radio exclusively played a couple of tracks from "Ex. 1" on John Henery's Teenage Kicks radio show on 13th January while Radio North Angus will be playing a selection of tracks on February 6th.
