The premier album was released at the Californian Ubiquity Records company and the next one at the Musical Agency of the Polish Radio. Nine people on the stage, three vocalists, brass section. Mix of funk, afrobeat, world music, etno and jazz are the elements that characterize Warsaw Afrobeat Orchestra. WAO recordings are heard on radio broadcasts around the world. In BBC they were noticed by Gilles Peterson. They supported Tony Allen at the Inne Brzmienia Festival.
