His self-penned and produced songs display a dynamic array of musical influences, ranging from beautiful, reposed and experimental electronica to somber piano balladry topped off with distinctive vocals and songwriting.
It all started in Autumn 2015, when FatCat Records heralded his single ’To Escape’ on their website. The track was well received and soon followed by a array of shows around the country, including highlights such as supporting Erased Tapes’ Rival Consols in Brighton in October, and supporting Anna von Hausswolff at her sold out show in Hackney in December.
In June 2016, he self-released his anticipated debut album 'In Greyscale’, written and recorded over a period he spent between Norway, Nigeria and the UK. The lead single opens with a juxtaposition of tribal beats and haunting piano before descending down a rabbit hole of brutal electronic drones. The release has gained quite some momentum since, leading him to many features and playing Green Man Festival’s main stage in August, which was considered a highlight by many viewers including festival director, Fiona Stewart, and Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1).
