Tobias Sarra is a genre-fluid musician and artist whose work spans from the whacky to the heartfelt, the everyday to the ethereal, from zen influenced improvisation (Shunyata Improvisation Group) to neo dream folk (Tobias Sarra) and onwards to prog metal (Mattergy).
Inspired by global & urban shamanism, zen/taoist philosophy and artists such as Hiroshi Yoshimura, Tarkovsky Quartet, Blake Mills and Hiss Golden Messenger he is fascinated by stillness, wordplay and shifting senses of sound and energy.
Through diverse means, his singular aim is to create immersive, communal experience.
