His combination of blues, country and folk shows influences in the form of Seasick Steve, Robert Johnson and Johnny Cash whilst showing his expert guitar playing and lyrical content focusing on liquor, women and the blues.

2013 saw regular BBC Introducing airplay as well as support slots with a major national promoter including international touring bands at The Rescue Rooms and Glee Club Nottingham. Add this to Dot To Dot Festival, The Big Shake Out and Splendour Festival, the year saw Ryan gain a large following across the county as well as being hailed as 'one to watch' by Left Lion Magazine.

Having recently signed to Wire & Wool Records, an off branch of I'm Not From London Records, Ryan is now set to release his début EP 'Worries & Troubles' via the label in April 2014 showcasing his perfect blend of Americana blues and subtle folk.
