Our band, Nour Project, is an emerging band in Egypt, leaded by the famous saxophonist Nour Ashour, who performs with Mohamed Mounir in his big concerts in Egypt and abroad, the instrumental band el Dor el Awal and many other bands and musicians in the Middle East.
Nour Project band is composed as well of 7 other well experienced musicians.
Our music is made of fusion of music between our roots in oriental music and all the other music influencing us from jazz, latino, funk…

The band is full of energy and enthusiasm to play, create and share with other musicians. Opportunities to meet their peers in festivals, workshops and residencies abroad are important for them to progress and as well demonstrate their talents and make discover some of the actual Egyptian music.
