In january 2019, NOAIR was one of the bands choosen by MENT showcase festival. Their performance achieved a lot of positive pubblicity and was one of the top 5 perfomances of the festival for the french online magazine HAJDE (http://hajde.fr/2019/02/06/top-5-ment-2019/). Gregor Bauman from the music magazine Odzven / SIGIC wrote: ”I asked myself twice 'Do my ears hear right?' when I heard NOAIR playing onstage. The first time when I heard their unique way of performing and the second time when I realised that they are a slovenian band. They don't pose, their music is melodic but at the same time they dare to experiment, they adapt the independent music styles to themselves, not vice versa.”

This Slovenian four-piece band defines their genre as alternative pop, since they love travelling from sweet idyllic melodies to auto-destructive noisy chaotics. Their sound recalls Jeff Buckley, Muse and Radiohead, melting together elements of many genres.

NOAIR was formed in 2014 and the very same year they released their first album, named Existential. The second album Superhuman released in 2017 achieved critical acclaim in the entire region. After the release members dedicated their time to disassembling their music and recreating it in a new ”unplugged” version, which they presented in a well known national radio show Izštekani and later on a short acoustic tour. The band was chosen as one of the INES talents for the year 2019.
