Working mainly with Standards, Traditional Jazz and the American Songbook - Lucy has a special focus on scat vocal improvisation, with an attack that doesn't shy into a breathy corner. Lucy is inspired by those who work with their voice as instrument - and takes cues from male blues shouters and horn instrumentalists as much as the smooth tones of the female leading lights . A full pallette of sound that braves the risk of promoting full expression over twee standards of 'pretty' sound.

Lucy is currently performing with the Keith McGee Trio and also provides guest vocals to various bands in the Traditional and Dixieland genres. In addition, Lucy is rehearsing work with musicians in Scotland - her home from home.
