Originally a 3 piece acoustic guitar wielding folk band who thought they could play Banjo, but as time went on and they picked up two more members, the style started to change towards Indie Rock, from there, Jungle Doctors was born.
Since the release of their first EP in July 2012, they have picked up lots of attention from blogs and radio stations, Boat Song was featured on Tom Robinson’s Introducing Mixtape on BBC Radio 6, and with their more recent releases, Better, and their new “Open Up” EP, they have picked up places in the Amazing Radio chart, airplay on BBC Radio London and XFM. “The first two singles from the EP have done incredibly well compared to the last material that we released, so you can’t help feeling that things are moving forwards, plus people actually want photos with us after gigs now!”
Additionally, new single The Sea And The Rain and Late off the Open Up EP have been trending around the world on Soundcloud; amassing over 100,000 plays each. Jungle Doctors closed 2014 with another new single "Can You See It".
