With her music she want´s to tell you stories of her life in the language of Folk
Country. The lyrical content ranges from sweet to sullen to sarcastic with influences from for example Sarah Bareilles, Bonnie Raitt and Tina Dico.
Jonina has been exploring the world and will continue to do so with her music.

Jonina studied in Denmark for one year (2006) in Den Rytmiske Hojskole where she studied guitar, live studio and concert recording, mixing. In 2010 she moved to LA where she studied Vocal and art development at the Musicians Institute and the Independent Artist program 3 years later. After graduation in L.A. she did a 3-week tour around California where she performed in diverse and different places, bars, wine yards, music halls and living room concerts. A year later, 2014, she toured the west part of the US for 7 weeks with another singer/songwriter, Sara Broman.
Here in Iceland Jonina has performed when she gets the change in private parties or festivals around the country, as a solo artist or with a band.

Jonina released her second album, Remember, the fall 2017 and followed the album with live concerts around Scandinavia the year 2018.
