Hudaki Village Band's music reflects the ethnic diversity of the Ukrainian Carpathians: influences from the Ruthenians, Hutsuls, Romani, Hungarians, Romanians, and Jews can be discerned.

In the Maramures region, a mountainous area of South-west Ukraine on the border with Romania and Hungary, village musicians are called hudaki. Enjoy this delighting bunch of Hudakis!
