I first heard Jamie busking on the Boulevard in Hollywood.
I remember asking him what the best track he played was.
He did a dope cover of Dakota by The Stereophonics.
I was highly impressed, and asked Jamie to meet me back at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel an hour later, to audition as our in house musician for the winter.
Again, he blew me away with his gritty and gravelly voice, producing a fine acoustic version of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.
