The Great Escape is the festival for new music, showcasing 500 emerging artists from all over the world in 30+ walkable venues across the city and a pop-up festival site on Brighton Beach. It’s the first place to discover your new favourite artist and see them in an intimate setting before they go on to headline major festival stages.

TGE is also attended by the music industry who are on the hunt for the next big thing. A conference runs alongside the gigs featuring insightful panels, topical debates, keynote speeches and networking opportunities in abundance.

The gigmit Matinee Showcase at The Great Escape will take place on Saturday 14th May 2022 between 12pm-4pm, venue currently to be confirmed.

Even greater News: Each booked artist will be offered the opportunity to perform another show within the core music programme of The Great Escape!

We cannot guarantee that these shows will be on the same day.

The artist fee is decided by TGE and depending on size and level of experience of the artist. Please keep in mind that TGE is a showcase festival for music industry professionals and a chance for you to take your artist career to the next level.

Is your music export ready? Travel costs and accommodation cannot be compensated. If you are traveling from abroad you need to take care of funding. TGE can support booked acts to find fundings for travel costs.
