With explosive guitar riffs and infectious melodies, the band began turning heads back home with impressive support slots at sold-out shows for the likes of Ash, Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Subways. It was not long before this young, polished quintet caught the attention of Brian Wheat of US rock legends Tesla, who invited them out to Sacramento, California to record at his multi-million dollar J Street studio.
So impressed by the talent of the group, a management deal with Wheat ensued, and FlashFires have not looked back. From attracting Led Zeppelin guitar god Jimmy Page to one of their London shows, to having singles ‘Shy’ and ‘Manshark’ played on both BBC Radio 1 and 2, it seems the growing hype surrounding this outfit is not going away any time soon.
