Your checklist for applying

1. Playing at the East Side Music Days means playing eye to eye with the crowd, on the streets of Berlin – are you ready for this very intimate and special setting?
2. Are you able to perform your music without electricity? The East Side Music Days are a street music festival under “real street music conditions”, which means that we cannot provide any electricity. In the past years, some artists brought their own car batteries to use as a source for electricity. This is alright with us as long as you don’t defy volume regulations, obstruct other performances or severely affect traffic.
3. Would you be available to perform a 45-minute set on the weekend of 17 – 18 Aug 2019 in Berlin?

For your performance at the festival, you will receive:

1. An expense allowance of 50 EUR per person (with a maximum allowance of 150 EUR total per band; expense allowance has to be invoiced by the artist)
2. Complimentary drinks and food vouchers during the ESMD
3. Of course you are welcome to collect tips for your performance from the audience (like a true busker!), sell your merch etc.
4. Discounts and the chance to win lots of other benefits provided by our partners.
5. If you’re not from Berlin and need support in finding accommodation, please contact us.
