“Brilliant, I wish I sounded like that at my stage of their career” Frank Turner, 2017
Four piece alternative band China Bears formed in the winter of 2015 by twin brothers Ivan and Frazer.
After meeting James and Dean at University the band spent the majority of 2016 writing and honing their live shows, with notable support slots for Declan McKenna and Gengahr.
They released their debut single ‘Hydra’ in April 2017 which gained airtime from BBC Introducing South, being picked as track of the week, as well as BBC Radio 6. This followed a string of summer festivals including Main Stage appearances at Victorious and Always The Sun Festival.
After various gigs throughout the autumn of 2017, including support slots for The Big Moon, YONAKA and To Kill A King, the follow up single ‘Meet Me In London' was released in December 2017.
