Der Sound ist frisch und verbirgt dennoch nicht die Einflüsse der Band die von klassischem 70s Rock bis hin zu Anlehnungen an Muse oder Placebo erinnern. 2013 veröffentlichte Billion ihre Debüt-EP "Scratching at the Surface" auf der die Songs deutlich zeigen, das hier etwas Großes unter der Oberfläche liegt.

Billion is greater than the sum of their parts. - the three musicians from Bocholt, Germany combine melodic vocals, rocking guitar riffs, solid drum grooves and discreet but effectively integrated loops. The sound is fresh and yet doesn´t hide the significant influence of bands from the 90s like Placebo, Muse and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In 2013 Billion published their debut EP „Scratching at the Surface“ on which the songs clearly hint at something big underneath that surface.
