Alkanes are a 2 piece Alternative Rock band hailing from the North of Scotland.
After a number of lineup changes since the birth of the band in 2014, the passion and drive from Alkanes remains the same. Comprising of Dale Sutherland (guitar/vocals) and Connor Meeks (Drums), Alkanes’ blend of emotionally driven lyrics with dynamic riffs and thunderous rhythms creates an intense performance with an energetic and raw live experience.
With a debut EP previously released in 2016, they have sinced followed up with the intense and dark single 'Sixes & Sevens' earlier in 2019, with future releases on the horizon. Having previously shared the stage with bands such as Vukovi and Holding Absence, Alkanes are set to continue to pave their own path in the UK's Alternative scene.
